MY BIRDWATCHING HIGHLIGHTS FOR NOVEMBER 2005
|And a few final
words for November..... Quite
a good month with some good raptors seen. As yet the wintering eastern
imperial eagles have not shown up, but no doubt they are on their way
and will soon tease us with their trying to hide behind the nearest
mountain as if they really were that shy. The golden eagles put them to
shame with their bold displays!
doubt we are about to be overwhelmed with almost every bird species that
exists as Christmas rears its head yet again. However you celebrate the
festive season, do enjoy yourselves and make the most of what you have,
Until next month, Good Birding! Paul Smith.
Paul's Diary highlights commenced at the end of August 2001. The current diary is moved to the diary archive at the end of each month - if you are considering a bird watching trip to NW Crete, the previous highlights may well help you decide the best month for your visit - your link to the diary archive is below.
